Content ontology design patterns (CODePs) are fragments of ontologies that can be used to build a domain ontology in a modular way, by specializing or composing them.

The CODeP ontology provides an infrastructure to represent and discover patterns in existing or new ontologies. It is based on the 'purely constructivist' DnS ontology.
